Week 16 (15th Nov 2019)

As for this week, I managed to complete my Progress Report (Logbook via Blog) through email. I already submitted my proposal report last week. In this blog, I listed out all my activities throughout the semester. The progress on the project is done smoothly without much problems. Conclusion: The proposal and progress report has been submitted completely to Dr Jawad. I did not continue to write my progress on week 17 because I have completed all the work that have to be finished this semester.

Week 15 (4th Nov 2019 - 8th Nov 2019)

In this week, students sumbit a complete FYP proposal Report to supervisor and do a plagiarism check. The plagiarism shall not be greater than 20%. I managed to complete the proposal and submit it the end of the week. I checked the plagiarism myself by using an online website, which is Smart SEO Tools. Conclusion: My plagiarism didn't exceed 20% and its fulfill the plagiarism criteria.

Week 14 (28th Oct 2019 - 1st Nov 2019)

For week 14, I search the future work that related to my project. Future Work Figure 2.4: Design and Implementation of Automated Solar Tracking System This project proposes an algorithm to detect the sun’s location and implement this control algorithm on a single solar tracking system with single axis. The tracker consists of a photovoltaic panel and adjusts its surface to the right angle to the sun in order to obtain as much photonic energy as possible to turn it into electrical energy. Solar power is one of renewable energy’s most traditional sources. The sun’s energy is infinite. But the main challenge remains in effectively optimizing the amount of energy to absorb the rays from the sun and directly convert energy to electricity. The introduction of a solar tracking system for solar panels is one way to increase performance. This is done to ensure that the sun’s rays fall perpendicularly on the solar panel and collect the full solar energy available. The sensors tra...

Week 13 (21 Oct 2019 - 25 Oct 2019)

In this week, I need to generate a citation for reference. Before or during making some findings, I printed my article that I found then sooner or later when I need it, I can read it whenever. The list below are my references: [1]         Walid bin Habib. (2012). Design and Development of Dual Axis Solar Tracker. [2]         Midriem M. & Roni S. (2016). Introduction In chapter 3, the materials and methods will be describes in the project. This chapter covers about block diagram, flowchart of project, the software and list component, the gantt chart and estimated cost of this project. This chapter will details more about each and every component's function in this project. Plus, a short brief about the materials used in this project also help to develop the project besides identify what is the pro and cons about the materials. Block Diagram Flowchart Conclusion I able to complete half of the Chapter 3 during this week

On this week, I continue writing Methodology. I listed out the component used, gantt chart and estimated cost. List of Components Material Functions Light Dependent Resistor A component with a variable resistance that varies with the strength of light that falls on it. Arduino Uno WiFi The same as a Arduino Uno Rev3 but with WiFi integrated. Solar Panel Solar photovoltaic panels absorb sunlight as a source of energy for direct electricity generation. DC Motor A DC motor is one of a group of electrical spinning machines that transforms electrical direct current into mechanical energy. Battery Store electrical energy in the battery bank and can withdraw it if user wants to use it USB Port USB port allows USB devices to link and transfer power to each other via USB cables. Gantt Chart Estimation Cost COMPO...

Week 10 (30 Sept 2019 - 4 Oct 2019)

On Monday, 30th September 2019, I met Dr Jawad to show him my slide presentation that has been edited. Dr Jawad approves my slide and he suggested me to prepare for FYP Proposal Defense Day. On Wednesday, 2nd October 2019, I came to class 2.30 pm to setup the projector for slide presentation. 3.00pm sharp I started my presentation. My assessors are Dr Zaki and Madam Hayati. The presentation went smoothly. The presentation ended at  5.00 pm. Conclusion: As a conclusion, students are able to present their project proposal smoothly and well prepared. I also able to answer and deals with assessor's question successfully.
