Week 5 (19 Aug 2019 - 23 Aug 2019)

This week is the final week for FYP Project Title Registration. The title will be registered by our supervisor. The deadline for this registration is 23th August 2019.

I managed to submit my project title and synopsis of the project to Dr Jawad on time.

My title and the synopsis of the project are:


Title Project
Development of Portable Dual Axis Solar Tracker. [Abbr: PDST]

Synopsis
Portable Dual Axis Solar Tracker is needed to make solar tracking manageable and easier. Further, the proposed PDST does not require more than one people to adjust it because it can be simply monitored using Blynk app and can be controlled remotely. Blynk app is used to measure the amount of energy that will acquire if the portable solar tracker is placed somewhere. Also the app will show the total power acquired from the solar panel. Last but not least, this project also has a USB port which can transfer the power acquired from the solar panel to other device such as cell phone etc.


 Conclusion:
The synopsis has been checked and approved by Dr Jawad and successfully submitted.

As for this week, I managed to complete my Progress Report (Logbook via Blog) through email. I already submitted my proposal report last week. In this blog, I listed out all my activities throughout the semester. The progress on the project is done smoothly without much problems. I did not continue to write my progress on week 17 because I have completed all the work that have to be finished this semester.

Week 10 (30 Sept 2019 - 4 Oct 2019)

On Monday, 30th September 2019, I met Dr Jawad to show him my slide presentation that has been edited. Dr Jawad approves my slide and he suggested me to prepare for FYP Proposal Defense Day. On Wednesday, 2nd October 2019, I came to class 2.30 pm to setup the projector for slide presentation. 3.00pm sharp I started my presentation. My assessors are Dr Zaki and Madam Hayati. The presentation went smoothly. The presentation ended at  5.00 pm. Conclusion: As a conclusion, students are able to present their project proposal smoothly and well prepared. I also able to answer and deals with assessor's question successfully.

On this week, I continue writing Methodology. I listed out the component used, gantt chart and estimated cost.
